Environmental requirements & legal compliance
RoHS - REACH - WEEE
As a manufacturer of high-quality printed circuit boards, we attach great importance to legally compliant, environmentally friendly and safe production processes. Our production complies with the most important European environmental and product protection directives:
WEEE Directive
TheWaste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive(2012/19/EU) aims to prevent, recycle and recover waste.
Although printed circuit boards as individual components are not directly covered by the WEEE Directive, we support our customers by
- environmentally friendly product design
- recycling-friendly materials
- transparent information for disposal at the end of product life
REACH Regulation
With regard to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals), we agree with the statement of the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI).
Accordingly, bare printed circuit boards are a product that does not have to be registered under REACH.
RoHS conformity
EC Directive 2011/65/EC(RoHS - Restriction of hazardous substances) and Directive 2015/863 (from 22.07.2019) - known as RoHS 3 or RoHS III - regulate the use of hazardous substances in devices and components.
We manufacture all printed circuit boards RoHS-compliant. This means:
Our products do not contain any hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium or mercury above the permitted limits.
Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
In Germany, the above-mentioned directives were transposed into German law by the "Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)".
Since July 1, 2006, substances such as lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (Cr VI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) have been banned.
